Jessica Santana, MS, LPC, received her Masters in Counseling from the University of Arkansas in 2020. She has dual licensure in clinical mental health and school counseling. Jessica specializes in Children and Adolescents and is working on her RPT (registered play therapy) license. She has always felt passionate about advocating for children and teens and is dedicated to helping the younger generation reach their potential by listening, providing empathy, and empowering them to discover themselves.
From personal experience, Jessica knows how difficult the adolescent years can be. She understands the feeling of not being heard or seen and not feeling worthy enough to be validated. It has since become her passion to provide a safe space for those who feel similar and need a support system and a listening ear.
Jessica uses a person-centered approach to therapy with non-directive techniques that allow the client to act as an equal in the therapy process. Throughout her career, she has provided services focusing on anxiety, depression, identity crisis, life transitions, coping skills, self-esteem, relationship issues, grief, and stress. In addition, Jessica has seen the impact of connecting the mind, body and spirit through expressive arts, play therapy, and mindfulness and incorporates it into therapy.
Jessica loves entertainment such as shows, dancing, movies, and games. She spends most of her time with her husband and kids and loves planning on the next travel plans or adventure.
