YaLaunda recently earned her Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas. She has experience working with both teenagers and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. Additionally, she has past experience in child & family advocacy. Her experience ranges from working with adolescents and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self esteem, grief, anger, suicidal thoughts, peer relationships, and conflict.
Yalaunda believes that in order to understand the problem, one must understand the person. She operates from a strength-based perspective and uses a plethora of therapeutic modalities to better understand and serve her clients.
In her free time, YaLaunda enjoys teaching dance classes, binging Netflix shows, and spending time with her dog.
