Kayla Tedder, LMSW earned her Master of Social Work degree from Capella University in 2022.  She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2009. Before becoming a therapist, she worked as a crisis social worker at a local non-profit, concentrating on individuals and families who were experiencing homelessness and other life crises.

Kayla has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children who have experienced trauma and life stressors. She is passionate about meeting individuals where they are and empowering them toward the growth and healing they desire.

Kayla believes that all people have intrinsic value and have the capability to move forward when they are heard and supported. Kayla’s approach to therapy is to create a compassionate space, hear and honor individuals’ stories, and support them as they reach their goals. She counts it a privilege to walk alongside others in their journey.  She utilizes a person-centered and holistic approach to therapy. Kayla is pursuing additional training in TF-CBT and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Kayla loves being outside with her husband and five children, riding her bike all around Bentonville, baking, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
