Her nursing career started in the emergency department as a trauma nurse, preceptor and change nurse. Tami has also acquired specific and specialized skills by maintaining resourcefulness and creativity in patient care. Nurse education has not only been an interest, but a passion. Her caseload has included the TDT and adults dealing with chronic mental illnesses.

Tami also fully believes in being active in her community and volunteering whenever possible. She has extensive experience volunteering with the Domestic Violence Association, Red Cross blood drives, community CPR classes, Headstart Programs, and many other community groups regarding mental health and gero-psychiatric mental health care. To further her understanding and improve her effectiveness, Tami has completed continued education in Cognitive Processing Therapy Military/Veteran Version as well as a VOICES Program of Self-Discovery and Empowerment for Girls.

In her time away from the office, she loves to spend quality time with her family and friends relaxing and exploring this beautiful area.

She looks forward to working with you and your family to achieve the very best quality of care for your medication management needs.
