Haven Eason, MBA serves as the Chief Operations Officer. With over 12 years of experiences in Operations Management and Sales Analytics, he is responsible for overseeing the continued growth of the communities and clients Eason Counseling serves. Haven attended the University of Arkansas where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Journalism with emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations. He also completed the Executive Master of Business Administration through the Walton College of Business.
Haven’s commitment to the development of Eason Counseling’s business and market strategies has led to rapid expansion over the Northwest Arkansas area leading to more attainable services for families in need. He continues to ensure that day to day operations are carried out effortlessly, allowing the clinical and support staff to do what they do best, serve clients and families.
Haven spends his free time with his wife and three children traveling to new and familiar places. Haven also enjoys playing golf and staying up to date on everything sports to keep up with his sons’ knack for daily trivia questions and commentary.
Shakira Eakins, LCSW, CCTP-1, is our Director of Training and Professional Development. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas. For over 8 years she has served the people of Northwest Arkansas as a mental health professional. While her primary focus has been with children, adolescents and families, she also has experience working with adults across the lifespan. She has treated clients struggling with depression, self harm, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, and racial identity challenges. She is also an affirmation therapist who is passionate about providing mental health services for LGBTQIA individuals.
Shakira is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is a Level 1 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She believes in the importance of the brain-emotion connection when working with clients. She likes to meet individuals and families where they are, allowing them to take the lead in their mental health journey. Her down-to-earth personality allows others to feel at ease and facilitates a strong therapeutic relationship.
In her free time Shakira enjoys photography, reading, binge watching tv, and spending time with her husband and four children.
Kennedy Murphy is our Director of Marketing and Community Outreach. Through engaging with local school staff, medical offices and other stakeholders, Kennedy solidifies our current relationships while developing new ways we can meet the mental health needs for Northwest Arkansas. Kennedy ensures that we are meeting our goal of exceeding the expectations of our community by creating and maintaining a safe and accessible portal of care for all.
In her free time, Kennedy loves to travel, hike, and explore the nature Arkansas has to offer with her friends, family and puppy “Mila”.
Ashley Kinne is our Lead Administrative Assistant and Billing Specialist. She has over five years of experience providing direct care to clients in the local school districts and planning therapeutic programming. Ashley manages our client accounts and schedules appointments. She is compassionate about ensuring our clients receive great care and have access to all needed services.
When she is not greeting you at the door, Ashley loves to try out new recipes or curl up with her cat “Moe” and watch movies.
Maggie Butler is our Administrative Assistant here at Eason Counseling. She is in the process of becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist through an online Master’s program based out of New Orleans. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Louisiana State University, and likes to spend her free time cheering on the Tigers. She also loves writing music, tending to her plants, and hanging out and cooking with her parents and sisters.
Vicki Eason recently relocated to NWA from Hot Springs, Arkansas, and came on board in March of 2021. She is our insurance and credentialing specialist here at Eason Counseling and Associates, spending her day making sure that our clients are up to date with their insurance to ensure quality and continuity of care. She is also in charge of verifying licensing information for all of our therapists to enable them to focus solely on building and maintaining healthy therapeutic relationships with each client. Vicki’s warm spirit and welcoming energy fill our office with joy and light, and we are so lucky to have her. She and her husband Michael love spending time with their beautiful grandchildren. She also loves sewing, completing beautiful paint-by-number artworks, watching old movies, basketball, and laughing at their silly dog Roscoe.
Heaven Williamson has extensive past experience as an administrative assistant for a local herb company and many years of experience as a preschool teacher in NWA as well as Southwest Colorado. Heaven helps manage ECA’s school based counseling referrals. When she’s not warmly greeting clients or helping with scheduling, Heaven helps with answering questions that may arise during the paperwork completion process.
When not in the office, Heaven enjoys backpacking, studying herbalism, identifying plants, and spending time with friends and family.
Terri Mendoza is an NWA native. She has an extensive background working as clerical staff in the medical field, and we are so excited to have her on our Eason Counseling and Associates squad to assist in PCP Referrals to allow seamless continuation of service for our clients. Terri is bilingual and helps to translate for some of our Spanish speaking families as well.
When not at Eason, you can catch her spending time with her family and friends. She loves dancing, watching movies, playing games and anything outdoors.
