Lexi Sanders, LCSW received her Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas.
While her passion and primary focus is in providing mental health services for LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families, she also has experience in working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, self-harming behaviors, mood disorders, and trauma.
Lexi has had the privilege of working with clients and their families in a variety of settings including residential care, advocacy center, school-based, and outpatient.
Lexi wholeheartedly believes that every individual has the capacity to heal when provided appropriate and effective support. Lexi operates from a strength-based perspective and pulls from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet clients where they are. She is EMDR Certified and can use that tool to help her clients as well. It is Lexi’s goal to create a safe space for all clients to feel heard, supported and empowered as they move forward on their journey of healing and personal growth. Her warm personality and sense of humor allow others to feel at ease and build genuine relationships.
Outside of the therapy office, Lexi enjoys spending time with her wife and the “Golden Girls” (their two golden retrievers), traveling and binging true crime documentaries.
